You know when I was young, a teacher gave me an article to read. It was about how the statistics of black women being anorexic and bulimic where almost non-existent. The article gave many theories on why this was but the main one being that we had been ignored in the media for so long that we created our own images of beauty and body image...well those days are LONG GONE.
