That's a huge leap from the $5,000 a month Nas & his team was offering.

It looks like this was the exact moment he realized he was in trouble!

Am I tripping or does that seems crazy?
I'm all for dudes handling his BI when it
comes to his kids but this just seems exorbitant.

They have one NEW BORN child together (not to mention his other daughter)
and they were not married that long...about 4 1/2 years.

It's not like she has to pay private school fees and from the
looks of things, he'd probably have to come out of pocket for that too.

Fair is fair and this seems dead wrong to me!

This will only give dudes more a a reason to say they don't believe in marriage.

Shake ya Bam Bam, with some Samba...

A friend & ex-coworker of mine convinced me to take a
SAMBA Dance Class with her recently.

Their Samba class is held on Thursday's from 6:30pm to 8:00pm and
taught by Michelle Summers @

I went to last Thursday's class and intended to go yesterday, but got

carried away cooking the Ziti for the hardware dudes and totally forgot.

It was a good class and I sweat pretty much all the way through it,

but was surprisingly not sore at all over the next through days.
They have a live drummer during the class which also gives it a great vibe
and helps get into the groove of things...
No shoes required, just comfy clothes and a great attitude.

The Lunch Fairy Strikes...

I busted out my angel wings, my wand and granted
a lunch wish today to wonderfully helpful guys over at the
First Brooklyn Supply Hardware Store @

The other night at around 4 am, I stumbled to the bathroom for a potty break. After my tinkle, I turned on the water only to find, what appeared to be no water pressure…now remember it’s like 4 am so it took me a second to realize that I still heard water running…so I pull back the shower curtain real fast, nothing…I look over at my toilet, nothing…I look under my sink…BAM!!! Water, water every where…

I franticly turn off the water from the knob under the sink but in the seconds it took for all of this to happen the water has gone all the way down stairs to my living room. Luckily I had just moved my sofa 2 days earlier…
Thank you heavens!

Anyway, early the next morning, like I always do in this type of crisis, I take some pictures of the problem and skipped on down to First Brooklyn Supply Hardware Store.

They are always very helpful, and sell me the items I need and give me play by play on what I need to do…I pop on back home only to find out that what they gave me doesn’t work…so I go back…get new items and come back home…they still don’t work so I go back a 3rd time…this go round the owner tells me, “I’ll just send my guy back with you to look at the issue”. WHAT??? You know I was like, “For free? Cause if I could afford a plumber I wouldn’t be here”. He’s like “No no no, no fee just don’t keep him in there all day”…

Well, that’s all I needed to hear…we walk back up the block and get to fixing…so we think…He then has to go back to the hardware store to get a pipe cutter and then back again to get a pipe file…This dude is determined to get me some water! About and hour later, my bathroom sink is back up and running and he’s on his way back to the store… Whoo Hoo! I guess chivalry isn’t dead.

So today, to say thank you to Ocie and the other guys of First Brooklyn Supply, I made them a tray of Baked Ziti, some Garlic Bread & bought 2 bottles of soda, took it all down to the shop and set it up for them.

Nails, Nails, Nails...

A while back I switched from Silk Wrap to UV on my nails.

For the most part I'm pretty happy with my decision.

For one thing if you like for you nails to have a natural finish, which is my favo

(my hood phase for favorite),there's no drying time.

The clear nails below are the finished product of a

UV manicure no polish or anything.

I was reading You and the Law in the Bryant Park yesterday...
Yeah still debating Law School!

If you have a decent length of nail already then all you they do is put 2 coats of the UV on top. Which is pretty much like glass.

If you don't have any nails, they can start you off with a artificial nail and

then as they grown out cut the fake nail off.

If you break a nail it is pretty much like any other time, except there is no soaking like when you have acyclic or a silk wrap. They use the drill to you remove the UV (glass) from your nail and then refill in the spot where the crack was or replace the whole nail it has broken off.

The finger just above cracked in the middle and you can barley tell it has been repaired.

The only real KEY is finding a place and someone who knows what they are doing. I've gone to other places in a pinch and been very disappointed.

I know from experience what one of Wandee's workout programs can do for a body & fast. I hired her to get me in shape before my birthday a few years back. I waited until the last minute(roughly 3 months before the date) and she showed up at my house two days a week, rain or shine and whipped me into shape in no time. Sometimes with breakfast in tow and always had a cute little quote to throw at me when ever I wavered. I still do some of the things I've learned from her and feel the burn every time.
