New York, The Devil is a Lie...

And his name is Mike Bloomberg...

New York, we have got to get Bloomberg out of office.

Tomorrow, November 3rd is election day and he will be running against Bill Thompson and it is pertinent that we get this man out of office.

First off he has no business even running for a third term. He just bogarded right passed the 2 term limit law. If I see one more commercial with him sitting up there lying to us about how he is going to make NY more affordable I am going to pull my weave out.

Think about it, why would a man (worth 16 BILLION) spend over 100 million of his own dollars to get elected into a position that won't pay half of that in the 4 years he will be in office? Remember this is business man we are talking about. He's going to make his money back one way or the other and it's going to be at our expense.

What has Bloomberg done for NY in the 8 years he has been in office?
Have you seen an improvement?

The mayor can put caps on rent, but instead he has lifted laws that say you can not charge more than and a certain amount in specific areas. Section 8 and low income housing has been cut at an alarming rate. And this is at a time when it is needed more than ever...we are in a recession and have a pretty high unemployment rate.

He had lifted all types of zoning laws so that now, right next to a row of beautiful classic brownstones there will be a 20 story glass high rise that looks like a strong wind will bring it down on the wrong day. And don't even get me started on the whole eminent domain thing (which means the state has the power to take private property for public use with payment of compensation to the owner).
They moved hundreds of people and businesses from the area near Atlantic and Flatbush avenues in downtown Brooklyn so that they could build the new NETS stadium. No work is being done (2 years later), and I hear that they don't have the money to complete the project (not to mention that it's a horrible location) and where are those people now after being forced out of their homes or to close there businesses.

The middle class and poor are being priced out of NY and it is no accident.

We have a man in office who is one of the richest people in New York and who actually said President Obama, "doesn't get paid that much...he's on a budget", though he makes $400,000+ a year.

You can peep the whole article and get into the mind of this greedy summa bytch over at the NY Times site.
